Wisdom

One Quote a Day

A line worth remembering each day, with a short reflection. Collected over time, it becomes a small garden of wisdom.

Today's Quote

A parent's exhaustion rarely comes from one thing — it comes from five or six pressing in at once.

— Anand Meta, LMFT · AMFM 心理健康

Reflection

We keep asking ourselves, "why can't I hold this small thing?" What we can't hold isn't the small thing — it's five or six stacked: commute, bills, school, screens, sleep, other people's kids. Seeing the shape doesn't fix it in a day. But tonight you can pick just the loudest one, and loosen your grip on that one.

Say what you mean — before you speak, ask yourself: what am I actually trying to communicate?

— Siggie Cohen · 儿童发展专家

— Reem Raouda · 养育教练

We think love is enough. But the place a child actually grows is the safe corner where they dare to be "not OK" in front of you.

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

— Albert Einstein · 阿尔伯特·爱因斯坦

It is the same world either way — but the way you choose to see it changes the way you live. Those who treat the ordinary as a miracle make room for curiosity, gratitude, and joy.
