How we handle your information
Luminis is a human-centered education platform. We only collect anything from you when you choose to sign in. This page tries to say what happens as plainly as possible.

What we collect
One thing: your email address. Nothing else. No name, no address, no phone number.
Why we collect it
One reason: so that when you sign in, we can save your favorites (daily wisdom, essays, deep reads, educators, clips) and show them back to you. Without an email, we cannot connect your saved items to you.
What we do NOT do
We do not run ad targeting. We do not sell or rent your email to marketing companies. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
Where your data lives
In an encrypted Supabase database (Oregon, USA). Supabase is a database-hosting provider we contract with under a standard data processing agreement.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it. You can request deletion any time.
How to delete
Send an email to info@qimingzhicai.com with subject "Delete my account" from the address you signed in with. We complete deletion within 30 days, including all of your saved favorites.
Cookies and local storage
We only store a Supabase session token in your browser's localStorage so you stay signed in between visits. That is not a third-party tracking cookie. Signing out clears it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent and discover your child created an account, please email us and we will delete it.
